Add it to a hair appointment
Waxing takes only a few minutes, so it's easy to add to a cut or colour appointment. Mention it when you book and it'll be worked in — one visit, everything tidy.
Before you come in
- Let the hair grow out a little — very short hair is harder to wax cleanly. A couple of weeks of growth is ideal.
- Avoid heavy sun or a fresh tan on the area right before waxing.
- Tell Gina if you use retinol, acids or acne treatments on your face — they can make skin more sensitive to waxing.
- If you've never waxed before, say so, and Gina will talk you through it.
Afterward
Skin can be pink for a little while, which settles quickly. Avoid heavy sun, hot tubs and heavy products on the area for the rest of the day, and it'll calm down fast. Gina will tell you anything specific your skin needs.
