Not every haircut needs to be an event. A lot of what happens at Hair Barn is regular cuts for men and kids, done properly and without fuss.
Men's haircuts
Whatever you usually ask for — kept the same, or changed if you fancy something different. Gina has been cutting men's hair for forty years, which means she's cut most things.
Flattops
A flattop is harder than it looks. It has to be level, and getting that right takes practice rather than clippers alone. Hair Barn does them.
Beards and mustaches
Trimmed and shaped along with your cut, or on their own.
Kids' haircuts
Children's cuts for all ages and hair types. If it's a first haircut, or if your child is nervous about it, say so when you call — it helps to plan for a quieter time rather than the middle of a busy Saturday.
Perms for boys
A lot of boys coming in for a cut are also asking for a perm — the loose, wavy look that gives the hair some movement. It's done in the same appointment as the cut. More about boys' and kids' perms.
Appointments and walk-ins both. For a quick cut a walk-in is usually fine — though calling ahead at (903) 944-0863 is the surest way to avoid a wait, particularly on Saturdays.
The whole family, one stop
Plenty of families come in together and get everyone done in one trip. If that's easier than three separate outings, call and we'll work out the timing.
